What driveways and walkways are up against
Tracked-in road salt, vehicle traffic, dripping oil, shovels and months of freezing and thawing make driveways and walkways the hardest-working concrete around your home. Once water and salt soak in, decorative concrete fades, stains and can begin to flake.
Sealing helps limit how much water and salt can get into the surface, and the hard coating it leaves behind makes oil spots and road grime easier to clean up.
What we seal
- Stamped and exposed aggregate driveways
- Front walkways and side paths
- Steps, porches and landings
- Decorative borders and curbs
Timing your driveway sealing
Sealers need dry weather and suitable temperatures to cure properly, so most sealing happens from late spring to early fall. We plan around the forecast and give you clear guidance on when you can walk on the surface and when it’s safe to drive on it again.
Choosing a finish for a driveway
Our clear acrylic sealers come in matte, semi-gloss, gloss and high gloss. Higher gloss gives the richest colour; lower sheens look more natural. We’ll recommend what suits your driveway, the existing sealer and the look you want.
