Your concrete takes a beating.

Road salt, freeze–thaw cycles, summer sun and the odd oil drip wear down unprotected concrete year after year. A quality sealer takes the hit instead, and keeps the colour where it belongs.

    Freeze–thaw

    Water absorbed by concrete expands when it freezes, creating internal structural stress. Sealing limits water penetration, helping prevent surface spalling and freeze–thaw cracking.

    Salt & chemicals

    De-icing salt, fertilizer and household chemicals can etch and discolour. Sealer gives them a hard coating to sit on, not soak into.

    UV fading

    Sun bleaches colour year after year. A non-yellowing acrylic sealer helps hold the rich tones of stamped and coloured concrete.

    Oil & stains

Why should I seal my concrete?

Sealing enhances the colour and texture of stamped or exposed aggregate concrete while helping limit moisture absorption, UV fading and surface staining. It’s a practical way to care for driveways, walkways, patios and pool decks exposed to everyday use and Canadian weather.

Can older concrete be resealed?

Often, yes. The existing coating and condition of the concrete determine the preparation and sealer needed. We’ll assess your surface first and explain what you can expect. Sealing enhances a surface; it doesn’t repair structural cracks or replace damaged concrete.

What finishes can I choose from?

We offer non-yellowing clear acrylic sealers in matte, semi-gloss, gloss and high-gloss finishes. We’ll help you choose based on your concrete, how it’s used, the existing sealer and the look you prefer.

How often does concrete need resealing?

Timing depends on the sealer, exposure, foot or vehicle traffic and the condition of the existing finish. If the colour is fading, the coating is wearing unevenly or you’re unsure about its condition, contact us for an assessment.

When can I use the surface again?

Drying and curing times vary with the product, temperature, humidity and weather. We’ll give you specific guidance for walking, placing furniture and driving on your surface when we plan your project.
